Sec. 1. When any person shall have come to his death by violenceor casualty caused by a collision with a train, car or other conveyanceof any common carrier, it shall be lawful for such train, car orconveyance to proceed on its journey before the arrival of thecoroner and the holding of an inquest, if the body of such person beleft in charge of a member of the crew of such train, car or otherconveyance, or of some other agent of such common carrier.
