    Chapter 3. Eminent Domain for County Road Projects

    Sec. 1. A county executive may acquire the lands and rightsnecessary to widen, straighten, or change the route of any countyhighway. If the executive is unable to agree with the owner of theland or right on damages or the purchase price, the executive mayexercise eminent domain to condemn the land or right necessary tocarry out the provisions of this section.
