    Chapter 4. Commission License Branch Personnel

Personnel system
    Sec. 1. The commission may develop a separate personnel systemfor employees of the commission who are assigned to be managersand employees of commission license branches. The system mayestablish the rights, privileges, powers, and duties of theseemployees, including a license branch pay scale and benefit package.If the commission does not develop and adopt a license branchpersonnel system, those employees are subject to the state personnelsystem under IC 4-15-1.8, except as provided in IC 9-16-1-7.

Retirement program
    Sec. 2. The commission may:
        (1) develop a retirement program for managers and employeesof commission license branches; or
        (2) cause managers and employees of commission licensebranches to be members of the public employees' retirementfund (IC 5-10.3-7).
