Chapter 16. General Assembly and Other State Officials License
Plates

Issuance

    

Sec. 1. License plates shall be issued to the following:

        (1) Members of the general assembly.

        (2) Spouses of members of the general assembly.

        (3) Other state officials who receive special license plates on an
annual basis.

Display; authorized vehicles

    

Sec. 2. A license plate issued to a member of the general
assembly, a spouse of a member of the general assembly, and a state
elected official may be displayed on the following:

        (1) A passenger motor vehicle.

        (2) A recreational vehicle.

        (3) A motorcycle.

        (4) A truck that has a gross weight of not more than eleven
thousand (11,000) pounds.

Violations

    

Sec. 3. A person who violates this chapter commits a Class C
infraction.
