    Chapter 19. Purple Heart License Plates

Design and issuance
    Sec. 1. The bureau shall design and issue a passenger vehiclelicense plate that will designate the vehicle as being registered to aperson who has received a Purple Heart decoration that is awardedto a person who suffers an injury while serving as a member of thearmed forces of the United States.

Eligibility
    Sec. 2. A resident of Indiana who is a recipient of a Purple Heartdecoration may apply for and receive one (1) or more Purple Heartplates.

    Sec. 3. A Purple Heart license plate must be displayed on avehicle registered by a person described in section 2 of this chapter.
