    Chapter 12. Rear View Mirrors

Safety requirements
    Sec. 1. A motor vehicle that is constructed or loaded so as toobstruct the driver's view to the rear from the driver's position mustbe equipped with a mirror located so as to reflect to the driver a viewof the highway for a distance of at least two hundred (200) feet to therear of the vehicle.

United States Department of Transportation regulations;classification of violations
    Sec. 2. (a) This section does not apply to a person who owns oroperates a vehicle or combination of vehicles that:
        (1) contain parts and accessories; and
        (2) is equipped;
as required under regulations of the United States Department ofTransportation.
    (b) A person who violates this chapter commits a Class Cinfraction.
