Creation
    Sec. 1. Indiana joins with other states of the union in accordancewith Public Law 684 of the 85th Congress in creating an InterstateCompact for Traffic Safety.

IC 9-28-3-2
Governor; director for traffic safety; powers and duties
    Sec. 2. The governor and the director for traffic safety for the stateare authorized and directed to:
        (1) notify the proper officials of the other states that Indianarecognizes the need for uniform traffic safety regulations andstandards for the maintenance of traffic safety measures; and
        (2) urge all of the states to join in the Interstate Compact forTraffic Safety that has been authorized by the United StatesCongress.
