Special weight permits; fees
Sec. 1. A vehicle or combination of vehicles having a total grossweight greater than eighty thousand (80,000) pounds but less thanone hundred thirty-four thousand (134,000) pounds must obtain aspecial weight permit for each trip on an extra heavy duty highway.The fee for this special weight permit is forty-one dollars and fiftycents ($41.50).

Annual registration fee
Sec. 1.5. (a) The fee for the annual registration required underIC 9-20-5-7 is twenty-five dollars ($25). The fee imposed under thissection must be deposited in the motor carrier regulation fundestablished under IC 8-2.1-23.
(b) The department of state revenue may impose an additionalpermit fee in an amount that may not exceed one dollar ($1) on eachtrip permitted for a vehicle registered under IC 9-20-5-7. Thisadditional fee is for the use and maintenance of an automated vehicleidentifier. The fee imposed under this subsection is in addition to thepermit fee required under section 1 of this chapter. The fee imposedunder this section must be deposited in the motor carrier regulationfund established under IC 8-2.1-23.

Special permits to exceed length, width, or height limits forvehicles, loaded or unloaded
Sec. 2. The fees for a special permit issued under IC 9-20-6 toexceed the legal length, width, or height limit for vehicles, loaded orunloaded, are as follows:
(1) A permit not subject to subdivision (2) or (3), twenty dollars($20).
(2) A permit issued to exceed ninety-five (95) feet overalllength, one hundred forty-eight (148) inches overall width, orthe height limit, thirty dollars ($30).
(3) The ninety (90) day permit issued under IC 9-20-6, onehundred dollars ($100).
(4) The one (1) year permit issued under IC 9-20-6, fourhundred five dollars ($405).

Permits to exceed legal weight limits; loads exceeding both weightlimits and length, width, or height limits Sec. 3. (a) The fees for permits issued under IC 9-20-6 to exceedthe legal weight limit are as follows:
(1) A trip permit, twenty dollars ($20).
(2) A mileage fee, which is in addition to the trip permit fee insubdivision (1), to be calculated for that part of the gross weightexceeding eighty thousand (80,000) pounds as follows:
(A) For loads greater than eighty thousand (80,000) poundsbut not more than one hundred eight thousand (108,000)pounds, thirty-five cents ($0.35) per mile.
(B) For loads greater than one hundred eight thousand(108,000) pounds but not more than one hundred fiftythousand (150,000) pounds, sixty cents ($0.60) per mile.
(C) For loads greater than one hundred fifty thousand(150,000) pounds, one dollar ($1) per mile.
(3) A ninety (90) day permit, two hundred dollars ($200).
(4) An annual permit issued under IC 9-20-6-2(c), eight hundreddollars ($800).
(b) If an application for a permit involves transporting heavyvehicles or loads, or other objects, that exceed the legal length,width, or height limit and that also exceed the legal weight limit inthe same movement, the applicant shall pay only the greater of thetwo (2) fees established in section 2 or 3 of this chapter and theissuing officer or body shall issue a single oversize-overweightpermit. The fee for a ninety (90) day permit described inIC 9-20-6-2(b)(3) is two hundred dollars ($200).

Annual toll road gate permit
Sec. 4. The fee for an annual toll road gate permit issued underIC 9-20-6 in conjunction with travel on the Indiana toll road istwenty dollars ($20).

Sec. 5. The fee for an annual permit issued under IC 9-20-6-6 istwo hundred dollars ($200). The fee may be paid in quarterlyinstallments.

Special towing permit; time for payment of fee
Sec. 6. The fee for a special towing permit issued under IC 9-20-9is ten dollars ($10). The fee must be paid not later than thirty (30)days after the permit was issued.

Person who is not mobile home or sectionalized building retail
dealer moving tractor-mobile home rig under IC 9-20-14-2
Sec. 7. (a) Except as provided in subsections (b) and (c), the feefor a person who is not a mobile home or sectionalized building retaildealer to move a tractor-mobile home rig under IC 9-20-14-2 is tendollars ($10) per trip.
(b) Notwithstanding subsection (a), a person who is not a mobilehome or sectionalized building retail dealer may purchase a quarterlypermit for unlimited trips during the quarter to move a tractor-mobilehome rig under IC 9-20-14-2. The fee for a quarterly permit is twohundred fifty dollars ($250).
(c) Notwithstanding subsection (a), a person who is not a mobilehome or sectionalized building retail dealer may purchase an annualpermit for unlimited trips during the year to move a tractor-mobilehome rig under IC 9-20-14-2. The fee for an annual permit is onethousand dollars ($1,000).

Mobile home or sectionalized building retail dealer movingtractor-mobile home rigs under IC 9-20-14-2
Sec. 8. The fee for a person who is a mobile home or sectionalizedbuilding retail dealer to move tractor-mobile home rigs underIC 9-20-14-2 is forty dollars ($40). The fee shall be paid annually.

Moving special tractor-mobile home rig under IC 9-20-15-1
Sec. 9. (a) Except as provided in subsections (b) and (c), the feefor a person to move a special tractor-mobile home rig underIC 9-20-15-1 is eighteen dollars ($18) per trip.
(b) Notwithstanding subsection (a), a person may purchase aquarterly permit for unlimited trips during the quarter to move aspecial tractor-mobile home rig under IC 9-20-15-1. The fee for aquarterly permit is five hundred dollars ($500).
(c) Notwithstanding subsection (a), a person may purchase anannual permit for unlimited trips during the year to move a specialtractor-mobile home rig under IC 9-20-15-1. The fee for an annualpermit is two thousand dollars ($2,000).

Permits issued under IC 9-20-6; fixing fee to be paid; validation ofpermits; disposition of fee revenues
Sec. 10. Whenever a permit is issued by the bureau underIC 9-20-6, the bureau shall fix the fee to be paid, and upon paymentof the fee, the bureau shall validate the permit. The revenue from thefee shall be credited to the state highway fund.

IC 9-29-6-11 Permit fees; extra wide manufactured home rigs
Sec. 11. If the Indiana department of transportation adopts rulesunder IC 9-20-15-6 to issue permits for extra wide manufacturedhome rigs, the fee for a permit is thirty dollars ($30).

Permit fees; transporting mobile homes
Sec. 12. The fee for an annual permit to move tractor-mobilehome rigs under IC 9-20-15-2.1 is forty dollars ($40) for each three(3) mile increment that a tractor-mobile home rig is transported upto a maximum of fifteen (15) miles. A fee imposed under this sectionmay not exceed two hundred dollars ($200).
