    Chapter 13. Miscellaneous Criminal Offenses; Suspension ofDriver's License

Reckless driving
    
Sec. 1. For a person who uses a motor vehicle to commitrecklessness under IC 35-42-2-2, the judge of the court in which theperson is convicted shall recommend that the current driver's licenseof the person be suspended for not less than sixty (60) days and notmore than two (2) years.

Obstruction of traffic
    
Sec. 2. For a person who uses a motor vehicle to commitobstruction of traffic under IC 35-42-2-4, the judge of the court inwhich the person is convicted may recommend that the currentdriver's license of the person be suspended for not less than sixty (60)days and not more than two (2) years.

Criminal mischief
    
Sec. 3. For a person who uses a motor vehicle to commit criminalmischief under IC 35-43-1-2, the judge of the court in which theperson is convicted may recommend that the current driver's licenseof the person be suspended for not less than sixty (60) days and notmore than two (2) years.

Involuntary manslaughter; reckless homicide; fixed termsuspension
    
Sec. 4. If a person commits any of the following offenses, thecourt that convicted the person shall recommend the suspension ofthe person's driving privileges for a fixed period of at least two (2)years and not more than five (5) years:
        (1) Involuntary manslaughter resulting from the operation of amotor vehicle (IC 35-42-1-4).
        (2) Reckless homicide resulting from the operation of a motorvehicle (IC 35-42-1-5).

Sec. 5. If a court fails to recommend a fixed term of suspensionfor an offense described under section 4 of this chapter, the bureaushall suspend the driver's license of the convicted person under

IC 9-30-4-6 for two (2) years.
