    Chapter 1. General Provisions

Administration of article
    Sec. 1. The bureau shall administer this article.

Preparation of forms to administrate article
    Sec. 2. The bureau shall prepare all necessary certificates,applications, assignments, authorizations, documents, forms, andrecords to administer this article.

Use tax on watercraft; receipt of payment by bureau
    Sec. 3. The bureau shall receive payments of the use tax onwatercraft that is required by IC 6-2.5-3-2 and IC 6-2.5-3-6.

License branches
    Sec. 4. The bureau may utilize the services and facilities of licensebranches to carry out the bureau's responsibilities under this article.However, an additional charge may not be imposed for the servicesof license branches under this article.

Rules
    Sec. 5. The bureau shall adopt rules under IC 4-22-2 to implementthis article.

Classification of watercraft
    Sec. 6. Watercraft are classified for the purposes of this articleand IC 9-29-15 as follows:
