16a-4-304. (UCCC) Cancellation by creditor.A creditor shall not request cancellation of a policy of property orliability insurance except after the consumer's default or in accordancewith a written authorization by the consumer, and in either case thecancellation does not take effect until written notice is delivered to theconsumer or mailed to him at his address as stated by him. The notice shallstate that the policy may be cancelled on a date not less than ten (10)days after the notice is delivered, or, if the notice is mailed, not lessthan thirteen (13) days after it is mailed.
