11-11-119. Purchase of mortgages from mortgage lenders. The authority shall have the power, as necessary or convenient to carry out and effectuate the purposes and provisions of this chapter, to invest in, purchase or make commitments to purchase, and take assignments from mortgage lenders, of notes and mortgages evidencing loans for the construction, rehabilitation, purchase, leasing, or refinancing of housing in this state.
