13-39-27. LEA authority to establish vocational education courses. For the purposes of providing vocational education, all LEAs of this state may establish, in cooperation with the division, a vocational department, classes or facilities for vocational education, as provided in this chapter, under terms and conditions agreed upon. Any LEA board may enter into any agreement to provide vocational education. An agreement made pursuant to this section is not subject to the limitation of the tuition law. An LEA may expend its money for vocational education.
