34-13-7. Board of examiners authorized to issue licenses. The board subject to the approval of the State Department of Health is hereby authorized to issue licenses to operate institutions as defined in § 34-13-1, which comply with the provisions of this chapter, and any regulations adopted by said department in compliance with chapter 1-26.
