34-24-10. Investigation of cases of ophthalmia neonatorum. It shall be the duty of the local health officer to investigate and report each case of ophthalmia neonatorum reported to him in pursuance of this chapter or brought otherwise to his attention as provided for in the rules and regulations of the Department of Health.
