34-35-7. Road fund used for fireguards--Expense of boundary fireguards. Any civil township, or county not divided into civil townships, may use one-half of the general road fund to help defray the expense of making fireguards; and the expense of making any fireguard running upon or adjacent to the township line shall be borne equally by the two townships between which such fireguard is made.
