39-23-3. Requirements imposed on vendors using term organic food on label. Any vendor using the term organic food on the label of any product shall:
(1) Use only raw materials in the product which conform to the standards in § 39-23-2;
(2) Have sufficient verification to ensure that all products labeled as organic foods are in compliance with the standards in § 39-23-2;
(3) Utilize a verification system established by the secretary of agriculture pursuant to § 39-23-4.
