5-14-8.1. Acceptance of gifts for works of art in state buildings authorized. The South Dakota State Fine Arts Council, the State Building Committee provided for in § 5-14-3, and the Bureau of Administration, are authorized to accept and expend for the purpose of this chapter, any funds which it may obtain from federal sources, gifts, contributions, or any other source for the acquisition and installation of works of art in state buildings in which the works of art shall be an integral part of the building, attached to the building, or capable of display in other state buildings.
