2.280  Power of Clerk to take and certify acknowledgments and affidavits.  The Clerk of the Supreme Court shall have power in any part of the State to take and certify:

1.  The acknowledgment of conveyances and the satisfaction of a judgment of any court.

2.  An affidavit to be used in any court of justice in this state.
