4.180  Power to take and certify acknowledgments and affidavits.  Justices of the peace, within their respective townships, shall have power to take and certify:

1.  The acknowledgment of conveyances and the satisfaction of a judgment of any court.

2.  An affidavit to be used in any court of justice in this state.
