197.070  Payment of bona fide debt by deputy or attache.  Nothing in NRS 197.050 and 197.060 shall be construed to relieve any deputy officer or attache from the payment of a bona fide debt, contracted for value received, for which a civil action would lie in a court of law, or to prevent such deputy officer or attache from paying the same out of his or her salary.
