218E.080 Â Rules for hearings; unlawful for person to misrepresent facts to legislative body.
1. Â Each House of the Legislature may provide by appropriate rules for formal hearings.
2. Â Every person who appears and is sworn as a witness before either House of the Legislature, or any committee thereof, convened for formal hearing, who willfully misrepresents any fact is guilty of a gross misdemeanor.
