243.450  Abstract filed; result certified to Governor.  The certified abstract of such returns must be filed in the Office of the Secretary of State, and, if it appears therefrom that a majority of all the qualified voters voting at the election have approved the act, the Secretary of State must certify the result of such vote to the Governor.

      NRS 243.455  Proclamation by Governor.  The Governor must thereupon issue a proclamation, stating therein the result of the vote in the county affected, and that the act has been approved by a majority of all the qualified voters voting at the election. The act shall become effective on the date of the proclamation.
