244A.707 Â Notice and public hearing by board of county commissioners. Â Except as otherwise provided in NRS 244A.703, before availing itself of the powers conferred by NRS 244A.697, 244A.699 or 244A.703 with respect to any project, a board of county commissioners shall:
1. Â Give notice of its intention by publication at least once in a newspaper of general circulation published in the county, or if there is no such newspaper then in a newspaper of general circulation in the county published in the State; and
2. Â Hold at least one public hearing, not less than 10 nor more than 20 days after the date of publication of the notice.
