280.307  Sheriff of county authorized to adopt administrative policies, procedures, rules and regulations without approval of board or committee; limitation.  The sheriff of the county in which a department is located may adopt such policies, procedures, rules and regulations for the administration of the department and the employees of the department as the sheriff deems appropriate without obtaining the approval of the board or the committee. Such policies, procedures, rules and regulations must not conflict with the regulations prepared by the board and adopted by the committee pursuant to subsection 4 of NRS 280.310.
