338.1386  State or local government to award contract for smaller public work to contractor or perform public work itself.  If the estimated cost of a public work is $100,000 or less, this State or a local government shall:

1.  Award a contract for the completion of the public work to a properly licensed contractor in accordance with NRS 338.13862; or

2.  Perform the public work itself in accordance with NRS 338.13864.
