31A.160 Ā Order to withhold income for support has priority over other claims against money; other remedies for collection of support not precluded. Ā The withholding of income:

1. Ā To enforce an order of a court for the support of a child has priority over any other proceeding against the same money.

2. Ā To enforce an order of a court regarding an obligation for the current support of a child has priority over any other orders for the support of a child.

3. Ā Is in addition to, and not a substitution for, any other remedy for the collection of an obligation for the support of a child.
