350.022 - Notice of election on proposal to issue general obligations: Publication.
1. Â Whenever a municipality by ordinance or resolution, as the governing body may determine, has ordered that a proposal to issue or incur general obligations be submitted to the voters at a special election or the next general municipal election or general state election, the clerk shall cause notice of the election to be published in a newspaper printed in and having a general circulation in the municipality once in each calendar week for 2 successive calendar weeks by two weekly insertions a week apart, the first publication to be not more than 30 days nor less than 22 days next preceding the date of the election.
2. Â If no newspaper is printed in the municipality, publication of the notice of election must be made in a newspaper printed in the State of Nevada and having a general circulation in the municipality.
