381.005 Ā Administrator: Appointment; qualifications; classification; employment of staff.
1. Ā The Administrator is appointed by the Director. The Director shall consult with the Board before making the appointment.
2. Ā To be qualified for appointment, the Administrator must have a degree in history or science and experience in public administration.
3. Ā The Administrator is in the unclassified service of the State.
4. Ā The Administrator may employ, within the limits of legislative appropriations, such staff as is necessary to the performance of his or her duties.
