442.070 Ā Duties of local health officer. Ā The local health officer shall:

1. Ā Investigate, or have investigated, each case as filed with the local health officer in pursuance of the law, and any other cases which may come to his or her attention.

2. Ā Report all cases of inflammation of the eyes of the newborn, and the result of all such investigations as the State Board of Health may direct.

3. Ā Conform to such other rules and regulations as the State Board of Health shall promulgate for his or her further guidance.
