62G.050 Â Appointment and duties of chief probation officer.
1. Â The juvenile court shall appoint one probation officer as the chief probation officer.
2. Â Under the general supervision of the juvenile court and with the advice of the probation committee, the chief probation officer shall:
(a) Organize, direct and develop the administrative work, including, but not limited to, the social, financial and clerical work, of the probation department and each local facility for the detention of children; and
(b) Perform such other duties as the juvenile court directs.
