62G.420 Ā Adoption of minimum standards for operation of special supervision programs and rules for administration.

1. Ā The Department of Health and Human Services shall adopt:

(a) Rules and regulations setting forth minimum standards for the operation of special supervision programs; and

(b) Other rules as may be necessary for the administration of the provisions of NRS 62G.400 to 62G.470, inclusive.

2. Ā The standards must be sufficiently flexible to foster the development of new and improved supervision practices and techniques.

3. Ā In developing the standards, the Department of Health and Human Services shall seek advice from the appropriate officials in those counties that participate in a special supervision program.
