574.410 Ā Dogs or cats kept in primary enclosures together. Ā If dogs or cats are kept in primary enclosures, an operator shall ensure that:

1. Ā Dogs placed together with other dogs and cats placed together with other cats are compatible.

2. Ā A dog or cat that displays a vicious disposition is not placed together with any other dog or cat.

3. Ā A female dog or cat is not placed together with any intact male dog or cat during periods of estrus, except for supervised breeding.

4. Ā An immature dog or cat is not placed together with an adult dog or cat, except with its mother or when permanently maintained in a breeding colony.
