616B.621 - Applicability to trainees of Rehabilitation Division of Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation.
1. Â In case of injury, coverage by industrial insurance must be provided for trainees while enrolled in a rehabilitation facility operated by the Rehabilitation Division of the Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation, related to evaluation, treatment, training, surgical apparatuses or medications.
2. Â The Director of the Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation shall make payments to the insurer on all trainees enrolled in a rehabilitation facility operated by the Rehabilitation Division of the Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation in this State at the rate approved by the Commissioner and based on a wage of $200 per month per trainee.
3. Â Payments must be made from the Account for Rehabilitation Facilities of the Rehabilitation Division of the Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation.
