641B.260 Â Hearing on application; refusal to issue license.
1. Â The Board may hold hearings and conduct investigations into any matter related to an application for licensure. The Board may require the presentation of evidence.
2. Â The Board may refuse to issue a license to an applicant if the applicant:
(a) Is not of good moral character as it relates to the practice of social work;
(b) Has submitted any false credential to the Board;
(c) Has been disciplined in another state in connection with the practice of social work or has committed any act in another state which is a violation of this chapter; or
(d) Fails to comply with any other requirements for licensure.
