643.1775 - Qualifications for license as instructor.
1. Â Has applied to the Board in writing on the form prescribed by the Board;
2. Â Holds a high school diploma or its equivalent;
3. Â Has paid the applicable fees;
4. Â Holds a license as a barber issued by the Board;
5. Â Submits all information required to complete the application;
6. Â Has practiced not less than 5 years as a full-time licensed barber in this State, the District of Columbia or in any other state or country whose requirements for licensing barbers are substantially equivalent to those in this State;
7. Â Has successfully completed a training program for instructors conducted by a licensed barber school which consists of not less than 600 hours of instruction within a 6-month period; and
8. Â Has passed an examination for instructors administered by the Board.
