644.070 - Meetings; compensation of members and employees; payment from fees and receipts.
1. Â The Board shall hold meetings at least four times a year for the examination of applicants for registration and for the transaction of such other business as pertains to its duties.
2. Â The Board may hold such other meetings for the examination of applicants for registration or for the transaction of necessary business at such times and places as it determines.
3. Â The members of the Board are entitled to receive:
(a) A salary of not more than $150 per day, as fixed by the Board, while engaged in the business of the Board; and
(b) A per diem allowance and travel expenses at a rate fixed by the Board, while engaged in the business of the Board. The rate must not exceed the rate provided for state officers and employees generally.
4. Â While engaged in the business of the Board, each employee of the Board is entitled to receive a per diem allowance and travel expenses at a rate fixed by the Board. The rate must not exceed the rate provided for state officers and employees generally.
5. Â All such compensation and expenses must be paid by the Board out of the fees and receipts received by it, and no part thereof may be paid by the State.
