648.189 Â Explanation of purpose of examination; consent; prohibited purposes. Â A polygraphic examination must not be conducted:
1. Â Unless the person examined is advised of the purpose of the examination.
2. Â Unless the person examined consents to it in writing.
3. Â For the purpose of interfering with or preventing lawful activities of organized labor.
4. Â If the person examined is less than 18 years of age, unless the written consent of a parent or legal guardian has been obtained after the parent or guardian has been informed of the nature of the examination and the matters to be covered.
5. Â To circumvent or in defiance of the law.
