649.167 Ā Permit for branch office; examination of principal office; manager required on premises.

1. Ā A collection agency licensed in this State may apply to the Commissioner for a permit to operate a branch office in this State in a location not previously approved by its license.

2. Ā The Commissioner shall not issue a permit for a branch office until the principal office of the collection agency has been examined by the Commissioner and found to be satisfactory.

3. Ā A branch office must have a manager on the premises during regular business hours.

4. Ā The Commissioner shall adopt regulations concerning an application for a permit to operate a branch office.
