656A.084  Adoption of regulations: Qualifications to engage in realtime captioning; establishment of ethical standards.  The Division shall, by regulation:

1.  Prescribe the level of education and professional training, experience and certification required to engage in the practice of realtime captioning.

2.  Establish ethical standards for persons who engage in the practice of realtime captioning, including, without limitation, standards for maintaining confidential communications between a realtime captioning provider and a person who receives his or her services.
