656.180  Requirements for certification.  An applicant for a certificate of registration as a certified court reporter is entitled to a certificate if the applicant:

      1.  Is a citizen of the United States or lawfully entitled to remain and work in the United States;

      2.  Is at least 18 years of age;

      3.  Is of good moral character;

      4.  Has a high school education or its equivalent;

      5.  Satisfactorily passes an examination administered by the Board pursuant to NRS 656.160;

      6.  Pays the requisite fees; and

      7.  Submits all information required to complete an application for a certificate of registration.
