666.185 Â Temporary orders: Grounds; issuance; effectiveness.
1. Â If the Commissioner determines that the existing or threatened activity specified in a notice of charges is likely to:
(a) Cause insolvency or substantial dissipation of the assets or earnings of a bank which is owned or controlled by the bank holding company; or
(b) Seriously prejudice the interests of the depositors in the bank,
ĂŠ the Commissioner may issue a temporary order requiring the bank holding company to cease and desist from the activity.
2. Â The temporary order becomes effective when served upon the bank holding company and remains effective until it is set aside by the Commissioner or a reviewing court or a permanent order is issued against the bank.
