97.325  Assurance of discontinuance.  In the enforcement of this chapter, the Attorney General may accept an assurance of discontinuance of any act or practice deemed in violation of this chapter, from any person engaging in, or who has engaged in, such act or practice. Any such assurance shall be in writing and be filed with and subject to the approval of the district court of the county in which the alleged violator resides or has his or her principal place of business. No such assurance may be accepted after the commencement of any action by a district attorney under NRS 97.315 without the consent of the district attorney.

      NRS 97.335  Civil penalties.  Any person who violates any order or injunction issued pursuant to this chapter shall forfeit and pay a civil penalty of not more than $1,000. For the purposes of this section the district court issuing any injunction shall retain jurisdiction, the cause shall be continued, and in such cases the Attorney General acting in the name of the state may petition for the recovery of civil penalties.
