§ 6131. Registration of name. (a) General rule.--A nonqualified foreign nonprofit corporation may register its name under 54 Pa.C.S. Ch. 5 (relating to corporate and other association names) if the name is available for use by a qualified foreign nonprofit corporation under section 6123 (relating to requirements for foreign corporation names), by filing in the Department of State an application for registration of name, executed by the corporation, which shall set forth: (1) The name of the corporation. (2) The address, including street and number, if any, of the corporation. (b) Annual renewal.--A corporation that has in effect a registration of its corporate name may renew the registration from year to year by annually filing an application for renewal setting forth the facts required to be set forth in an original application for registration. A renewal application may be filed between October 1 and December 31 in each year and shall extend the registration for the following calendar year.
