§ 509. Coordination with adjacent states. The Governor shall confer with the Governors or proper authorities of adjacent states for the purpose of coordinating and providing for the mutual defense and the internal security and for the exchange of authority to employ the Pennsylvania military forces in other states, and the employment of their armed forces within the boundaries of this Commonwealth. This power may be delegated to the Adjutant General.
