§ 1726. Payment of awards and costs. If an award against the purchasing agency was ordered, the amount of the award shall be paid to the non-Commonwealth party by the purchasing agency from funds appropriated against the contract out of which the claim arose, and any costs assessed against the Commonwealth agency shall be paid by the purchasing agency from funds or appropriations to the agency. If an award against the non-Commonwealth party was ordered, the amount of the award shall be deducted from whatever balance may be due the party on the contract out of which the claim arose. An amount in excess of any deduction remaining unsatisfied shall be paid by the non-Commonwealth party to the purchasing agency.
