§ 6137. Surrender of license. Upon satisfying the department that all creditors of a licensee have been paid or that other arrangements satisfactory to the creditors and the department have been made, a licensee may voluntarily surrender its license to the department by delivering its license to the department with written notice that the license is being voluntarily surrendered, but an action by a licensee shall not affect the licensee's civil or criminal liability for acts committed.
