§ 1721. Counsel to the board. The board shall appoint a counsel to the board, who shall be an attorney at law admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and who shall be appointed by the board to serve at its discretion. The board shall pay the counsel to the board reasonable compensation for services actually performed. The counsel to the board shall advise the board in all matters relating to its official duties and shall, notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, approve all matters relating to bonds and indentures.
