§ 1334.1. Seizure of registration plate. A police officer or an employee of the department authorized to enforce the provisions of Chapter 49 (relating to size, weight and load) may seize a registration plate that appears in departmental records as suspended, revoked, canceled, stolen, inactive or issued to a vehicle other than the vehicle on which it is displayed. This provision shall not apply to a registration plate that has been legally transferred as provided for in section 1314 (relating to transfer of registration). (June 22, 2001, P.L.559, No.37, eff. 60 days) 2001 Amendment. Act 37 added section 1334.1.
