§ 4925. Width of projecting loads on passenger vehicles. (a) General rule.--No passenger-type vehicle shall be operated on any highway with a load extending beyond the left side of the vehicle nor extending more than 12 inches beyond the right side of the vehicle. (b) Exception.--This section does not apply to emergency vehicles.
